that really made me pay attention to what my feet were doing while I run. While some other shoe brands are a bit more comfortable at the start, These shoes are comfortable all the way to the end of life. The foot bedding is not so stiff that you can feel it and the mesh at the toes is the same as most other running specific shoes. The only bad that I have to say about these is that I tend to rub a hole in the top of the toe where the mesh meets the leather It takes a while but eventually all of my running shoes do this so to me it is just par for the course. I wish they would keep models around for more than a couple years but I will grab the next one in the 21XX family when it changes over.
